1. PLANT CLASSIFICATION

      1.1 PARTS OF THE PLANT


      



ROOTS

They absorb the water and minerals from the soil.

STEM

It transports water and mineral from the roots to the rest of the plant. It can be soft and flexible. A hard and thick stem is called a trunk.

LEAVES

They usually are green. The take in the air and sunlight. They make the process of photosynthesis.

FLOWER

Some plants have flowers and fruit. There are seeds inside fruit.

Flowers produce polen.
